The National Conference of Governor's Schools (NCoGS) is a national organization committed to establishing, supporting, and enriching
summer residential governor's school programs. Its members are
individuals involved in maintaining governor's school programs across
the country, including administrators, statewide coordinators, faculty
and staff members, alumni, parents, and other friends of
state-sponsored summer residential enrichment programs for gifted and
talented youth.

Following the October 2007 annual meeting in Louisville, members of the Executive Committee have been working to update the NCoGS Web site in order to bring all components of the organization -- members area, members email list-server, and public Web content -- to a single Web site. The work is mostly complete, and we are ready to convert memberships to the new system.

The 2008 Annual Meeting of the National Conference of Governor's Schools will be held October 9-11 in Memphis, Tennessee. The meeting is hosted by the Tennessee Governor's School for International Studies at the University of Memphis.

Several college scholarships are available to alumni of governor's schools. individuals who are involved in the same project as you. Governor's
schools are relatively uncommon across the nation, so the understanding
