An article titled "MSU Will Not Host Governor's Scholars in 2010" in The Morehead News features the decision of the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program Board of Directors to select a new university at which to host one campus of the program.

MSU was essentially beat by Murray State University, according to Amanda Baldwin, MSU’s coordinator of GSP activities.... The GSP board of directors selected Bellarmine, Centre and Murray.
