An article titled "Trigg juniors attended Governor’s Scholars program" in the Cadiz Record reports that Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear addressed students in the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program.

“The Governor’s Scholars Program is an outstanding educational experience for Kentucky and one that I’m proud to say both of my sons had the opportunity to enjoy,” Beshear said. “My congratulations to those young Kentuckians who had the great opportunity to share in this exciting program.”
