An article titled "Guest Speaker Hurt in Assault" in the Columbia Daily Tribune describes an attack on a Holocaust survivor who has been a guest speaker at the Missouri Scholars Academy (MSA) for fifteen years. The guest speaker, Hedy Epstein, was on her way home in St. Louis after speaking at the MSA when she was attacked.

The [MSA] scholars made a “Get Well” card to send to Epstein, said Chris Young, a spokesman for the camp. “Hedy’s a very inspiring individual,” he said. “The scholars wanted to do something to show her that they care for her.”
