An article titled "MUW Hosts Kids' Culinary Camps, Mississippi Governor's School" in The Commercial Dispatch features the Mississippi Governor's School, hosted by the Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS.
“Focusing on the
importance of service and the use of one’s talents for the greater
good, MGS endeavors to develop the next generation of leaders for
Mississippi and the nation,” said Kate Brown, associate director of the
Roger F. Wicker Center for Creative Learning. “The scholars participate
in the program at no cost and earn three hours of college credit and a
$500 scholarship to MUW.”
