A letter to the editor titled "Rendell Needs to Reconsider PGSE Fund Cuts" in The Online Rocket, Slippery Rock University's newspaper, encourages Governor Rendell to preserve funding for the Pennsylvania Governor's Schools of Excellence. The letter is written by an alumna of the Governor's School for the Arts.

I urge Governor Rendell to reconsider cutting funding for PGSE. Pennsylvania needs to lay the seeds for the future, as well as to preserve its history. Snowmobiles and ATVs can wait, Pennsylvania needs its Govies.
