An article titled "BHS Students Attend Three-Week Governor's School at University of North Texas" in the Breckenridge American features two local students who just completed their experience at the Texas Governor's School at University of North Texas.

Kutter Trammel and Chris Nelson from Breckenridge High School were among 93 students who completed the three-week Texas Governor’s School at the University of North Texas between June 8 and June 28. Funded by the Texas State Legislature and sponsored by the Exxon Mobile Corporation, the all-expenses paid camp encouraged Texas students to study math and science.
