An article titled "Woodchucks Work to Save the Planet" in the Virginian-Pilot [Hampton Roads] features Virginia Governor's School for Agriculture alumna Hillary Benedict's recycling project with students in an elementary school. Last summer, she spent four weeks at the Governor's School for Agriculture at Virginia Tech. She worked with leading professors from more than 13 states and wrote a seven-page thesis on dirt.
